Our Story

 

The Tackle Box, founded by cousins Christopher Davis and Trever Hairston, launched in the  summer of 2015. Davis, with a background in sales management, and Hairston, a Los Angeles based Chef, saw a void in the food truck space for what they call  “Reel Good Seafood”. In other words they wanted  to bring quality seafood that was made fast to the emerging food truck space in So Cal.
 
Combining their professional backgrounds, they launched The Tackle Box Food Truck. A Southern Style Fish Fry, Grill, and more on wheels! Consisting of southern favorites such as catfish, shrimp,  lobster, hush puppies, and po’ boy sandwiches. After a successful 4 year run, the cousins were thinking BGGER! In July of 2019 The Tackle Box Southern Seafood And More Restaurant was opened. Now with a permanent location for seafood fanatics seeking authentic southern cuisines, The Tackle Box continues to serve its core menu items that customers love, as well as new menu items, and signature dishes that are sure to please!  For an out of the box Sea Food experience, The Tackle Box is a must try!
